Silver Fir Picea Super Blu, also known as the Colorado spruce, is a dwarf evergreen conifer native to North America. The silver pine is particularly appreciated in gardens around the world due to its leaves that display a gray-silver color, which under sunlight appear almost blue, also known as blue spruce. It is a very decorative plant that retains its foliage throughout the year. It is cultivated in very well-drained soil and, after a few years from planting, tends not to require much care. Pruning should be kept to a minimum, periodically removing only broken or weather-damaged branches. Conifers do not like any type of pruning and tend, over time, to maintain a graceful and pleasant shape, forming a dense cone with horizontal branches, sometimes slightly downward-facing. Exposure and climate: it prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations, ideal for flower beds and small to medium rocky gardens. It reaches a maximum height of 6 meters.
